Avesso Classic Meadow Grain

Avesso Classic in Meadow Grain is a warm, natural oak with distinct grain character. The rustic grade shows knots and colour variation, giving real wood texture without fussy perfection. It’s the kind of floor that looks lived-in from day one, which suits period homes, cottages and any room where understated warmth matters more than uniformity.

This 14mm thick Engineered Wood Flooring sits on a multi-ply base, so it won’t move with temperature swings the way solid wood does. The 3mm oiled wear layer takes knocks and scratches in its stride. You get the real-wood look and feel without the constant sanding and re-oiling that solid oak demands. If underfloor heating matters to you, this floor works with it.

Lay it floating over existing floors, nail it down or glue it. Underlay is optional if you float it. Every method is straightforward if you know what you’re doing, or hire a fitter if you’d rather leave it to them.

The oiled surface needs a wipe with a damp cloth and the occasional refresh with wood oil to stay looking its best. It won’t stand up to heavy wet exposure, so it’s not suited to bathrooms or utility rooms where water sits.
