Avesso Classic Soft Valley

Avesso Classic in Soft Valley brings warm, natural oak character to your home without the upkeep of solid wood. This engineered oak flooring has a rustic grain and soft, welcoming colour that works in bedrooms, living rooms, kitchens and hallways alike. The oiled finish sits gentle underfoot and shows off the grain.

The 150mm planks come in lengths from 300mm to 1200mm, giving you natural variation across the floor. Each board is 14mm thick with a 3mm wear layer that handles everyday traffic. Soft Valley is real oak wood flooring with engineered multi-ply construction, so it stays stable in changing humidity without warping or cupping as solid wood might.

How to fit it

You have three options: float it over underlay (optional), nail it down, or glue it. The tongue and groove profile means boards click together snugly. Engineered wood flooring for hallways and other high-traffic areas sits flat and secure with any of these methods. Soft Valley works with underfloor heating too, so you can warm the room from below if you choose.

Where it goes

Bedrooms, dining rooms, living spaces, offices, kitchens and utility rooms all suit this floor. Rustic grade oak means you get knots and colour variation, which adds character and hides everyday marks well. It’s not waterproof, so keep standing water away from it.

Looking after it

The oiled finish needs a light clean with a soft mop and plain water. For spills, wipe them up promptly. Over time, oiled wood can be refreshed with a specialist oil product if the finish dulls. Avesso backs Soft Valley with a 25-year warranty, so you’re covered against manufacturing faults. Click engineered wood flooring like this is a practical choice for active households that want oak looks and solid durability.
