Product Overview
Dark Roast oak sits at the deeper end of the brown spectrum, bringing warmth and depth to rooms without the heavy look. Laid in a herringbone pattern, the colour works with both modern and classic schemes. You get that rich oak grain and real-wood character, but engineered construction means it won’t move or cup the way solid oak can.
What you get
- 90mm width, 300-1200mm lengths
- 14mm total thickness with a 3mm wear layer
- Herringbone layout, bevelled edges
- Lacquered finish for protection
- 56 planks per pack, 1.51 m2 coverage
- Engineered multi-ply oak construction
The lacquered surface handles everyday wear. Spills and crumbs won’t penetrate, so clean-up is quick. Rustic wood grade means each plank has its own character, with natural grain variation and mineral marks that add to the look.
Where it fits
This works well in living rooms, dining areas, bedrooms, hallways and kitchens. Suitable for offices too. You can also lay it in light commercial spaces. Engineered Wood Flooring for Hallways often handles foot traffic better than solid alternatives, and this product delivers that benefit.
Installation
Nail or glue down. 14mm Engineered Wood Flooring of this thickness is stable enough for most substrates. Herringbone Engineered Wood Flooring requires careful pattern planning, but the plank lengths give you flexibility. Compatible with underfloor heating. Underlay is optional.
Looking after it
Vacuum or sweep regularly. For marks, use a damp (not wet) cloth and a wood-specific cleaner. Avoid standing water. The 25-year warranty covers manufacturing faults and wear.
