Avesso Design Soft Sand is a light oak engineered floor with a timeless Versailles pattern. The soft, neutral tone suits modern and traditional schemes alike, bringing warmth without the fuss of solid wood. Oiled micro-bevelled edges add depth and character to each plank.

Where it works

Soft Sand suits bedrooms, living rooms, dining areas, kitchens, hallways, offices and utility rooms. It adapts well to both underfloor heating and standard heating, and works over most subfloors with optional underlay.

Installation and care

You can fit it floating, nailed or glued down. Glue-down gives the most stable base in busy kitchens or hallways prone to moisture. The oiled finish needs occasional cleaning with a damp (not wet) mop and an appropriate wood-floor cleaner. Spills should be wiped straight away to keep the surface looking its best.
