Balta Sublime Tropical Sand

Balta Sublime in Tropical Sand is a warm, neutral beige carpet that works in any room. This medium-shade Saxony pile has a soft, inviting feel. It’s made from polypropylene with a dual backing for stability and strength. The 13mm pile sits at 2400g/m2, giving good body without bulk. What sets it apart is the bleach-cleanable finish. Spill something tough? You can tackle stains with bleach, which means less fussing over marks and more confidence underfoot. Most carpet needs careful spot-cleaning. This doesn’t.

At 15mm total thickness, Tropical Sand works with underfloor heating, so you won’t lose warmth in winter. It’s graded for Classification 23, which means it handles normal household traffic with ease. The dual backing keeps it stable on the subfloor.

Where it works

Bedrooms, living rooms, dining rooms, hallways and stairs all suit this Saxony pile. The neutral tone and practical stain-resistance make it a sensible choice for family homes. For heavy-duty settings, this isn’t the pick, but for everyday living spaces it’s solid.

Installation and underlay

Tropical Sand uses traditional gripper fitting. You’ll need underlay beneath it, which provides cushioning and helps the carpet sit properly. It works with underfloor heating systems.

Caring for it

Regular vacuuming keeps the pile in shape. For spills and marks, you have real freedom here. The bleach-cleanable finish means you can use bleach-based cleaners on stubborn stains without worrying about damage. Balta backs Tropical Sand with a 10-year warranty, giving you security in the weave. The Balta Sublime carpet range carries that same reliable finish across all its colours.
