Polyflor Polysafe Verona Cookie Cream 5201

Cookie Cream 5201 is a light beige sheet vinyl with a practical speckled finish. It sits firmly in the safety vinyl category, gripping well underfoot even when wet. The soft, warm colour works equally in contemporary kitchens, bathrooms and busy commercial spaces where slip resistance matters.

The material is 2mm thick PVC throughout, with a PVC backing that keeps it stable on the subfloor. At just 2 metres wide, it rolls out quickly across tighter spaces without the joint headaches of narrower formats. Waterproof all the way through, it handles splashes, spills and the daily soak of kitchen and bathroom use without swelling or deteriorating.

Polysafe Verona sits in the middle ground between domestic and commercial flooring. It carries a 10-year warranty and meets Use Classification 23, 34 and 43, meaning it stands up to moderate to heavy foot traffic in both homes and offices. The R10 anti-slip rating keeps people safe on damp surfaces, vital in bathrooms, kitchens, WCs and hospitality settings.

Where it works

Polysafe Verona suits bathrooms, kitchens, cloakrooms and commercial spaces. The R10 slip rating makes it a solid choice for wet areas and hospitality premises where safety is non-negotiable. It also handles office environments well, absorbing footfall sound at 19dB whilst keeping cleaning straightforward.

Installation

Cookie Cream 5201 is a glue-down product. Prepare a smooth, clean, dry subfloor and apply vinyl adhesive directly to the base. No underlay is required, and it is not suitable for underfloor heating systems. The 2-metre width cuts down fitting time and reduces the need for joints in most domestic rooms.

Looking after it

Sheet vinyl demands little fuss. Sweep or vacuum daily to clear grit, then mop with warm water and a soft cloth or mop. For stubborn marks, use a mild detergent diluted in water. Avoid abrasive scrubbers and excess water pooling in joints or seams. Polyflor backs this product with a 10-year warranty covering manufacturing defects under normal use.
