How do I determine the amount of flooring I need for my space?

Determining the right amount of flooring for your space is a crucial step in any home improvement project. At Flooring King, we've got you covered with a simple guide to help you calculate the exact amount you need: Measure Your Space: Begin by measuring the length and width of the room. For irregularly shaped rooms, divide them into smaller, more manageable sections. Add Extra for Wastage: It's wise to account for wastage during installation. Depending on the complexity of your layout, add an extra 5-10% to your total square footage to accommodate cuts and unforeseen adjustments. Consider Pattern Matching: If your chosen flooring has a pattern or needs to be matched, consult with our experts at Flooring King to determine the extra amount required for a seamless look. Factor in Room Shape: Different room shapes may result in varying amounts of wastage. Take into consideration any alcoves, closets, or irregular corners that may affect your calculations. Where it works

Grey Loja Oak is at home in kitchens, bathrooms, utility rooms and cloakrooms where water resistance matters. It performs equally well in living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms, hallways and offices. Light commercial spaces suit it too, thanks to its AC4 wear rating. The Egger NatureSense Aqua range is built for homes and businesses that need a floor that works as hard as it looks.

Installation

Click-fit installation makes fitting straightforward. Underlay is required beneath the planks. The floor works with underfloor heating systems, so you can add warmth to bathrooms, kitchens or any room without any fuss.

Looking after it

Wipe spills straight away with a slightly damp cloth. Vacuum or sweep regularly to keep grit from scratching the surface. The water-resistant finish resists everyday splashes, though you should never leave moisture pooling on the planks. A 25-year warranty covers the residential floor, with a 5-year commercial guarantee included.
