Forbo Surestep Original Granite

Granite is a medium grey speckled vinyl that brings safety and practicality to any wet or busy room. The subtle texture hides marks and spills, whilst the R10 anti-slip rating keeps feet secure on damp surfaces. This is Forbo Surestep Original sheet vinyl made for kitchens, bathrooms, WC areas and light commercial settings where slip resistance matters.

The PVC construction is fully waterproof, so splashes and spills sit on the surface rather than soaking through. A 0.7mm wear layer protects the printed design, and the material sits flat with no underlay needed. Glue it down to almost any sound subfloor, and it bonds quickly for a seamless finish.

Where it works

Granite suits kitchens and bathrooms in homes and rental properties. It also handles light commercial traffic in cafes, offices, and small shops. WC areas benefit from the waterproof nature and slip resistance, making it ideal for staff facilities and public restrooms.

Looking after it

Sweep or vacuum regularly to clear grit and dust. Damp-mop with warm water and a neutral cleaner when needed. The speckled pattern forgives footprints and minor marks, so it stays looking fresh without fussy maintenance. Forbo Vinyl Flooring ranges demand simple care, and Granite is no exception.

A 10-year commercial warranty covers this product, so you’re protected against defects in material and workmanship. In a home setting, that same 10-year cover applies.
