Forbo Surestep Original in Night is a dark speckled safety sheet vinyl built for rooms where grip matters. The R10 anti-slip surface keeps you safe on wet floors, whilst the solid PVC backing stands up to splashes and spills without damage. Kitchens, bathrooms and commercial spaces all call for this kind of protection.

The colour works with most schemes. Night reads as a rich, neutral dark blue with visible flecks, so it hides marks and footprints well. At 2mm thick with a 0.7mm wear layer, it sits firm underfoot and takes everyday traffic in its stride. It’s fully waterproof, so bathrooms and shower areas pose no problem.

Installation

Glue down straight to a clean, dry subfloor. No underlay needed. The flooring works with underfloor heating, so warm bathrooms are no issue.

Looking after it

Wipe spills and dirt with a damp cloth or mop. Don’t flood it, but everyday moisture and wet feet won’t harm it. A 10-year warranty covers the material and backing against manufacturing faults.
