How do I determine the amount of flooring I need for my space?

Determining the right amount of flooring for your space is a crucial step in any home improvement project. At Flooring King, we've got you covered with a simple guide to help you calculate the exact amount you need: Measure Your Space: Begin by measuring the length and width of the room. For irregularly shaped rooms, divide them into smaller, more manageable sections. Add Extra for Wastage: It's wise to account for wastage during installation. Depending on the complexity of your layout, add an extra 5-10% to your total square footage to accommodate cuts and unforeseen adjustments. Consider Pattern Matching: If your chosen flooring has a pattern or needs to be matched, consult with our experts at Flooring King to determine the extra amount required for a seamless look. Factor in Room Shape: Different room shapes may result in varying amounts of wastage. Take into consideration any alcoves, closets, or irregular corners that may affect your calculations. Consult with Flooring Experts: Our team at Flooring King is always ready to assist you. Urban Chic is a soft, practical grey carpet that suits living spaces, bedrooms and hallways. The plain weave in medium shade sits well with neutral schemes and keeps the focus on furniture and décor. Best of all, you can clean it with bleach, so spills and marks come out without worry.

Made from polypropylene with a 5mm loop pile, this carpet feels gentle underfoot whilst standing up to daily use. The 850g/m² pile weight gives it substance and durability. It’s stain resistant too, which means muddy boots, pet accidents and kitchen splashes don’t leave lasting damage.

Specifications

Thickness 9mm
Pile height 5mm
Loop pile construction
Material polypropylene

This carpet works in bedrooms, dining rooms, halls, landings and stairs. Its classification means it can handle light commercial settings too. Gripper installation is standard, so fitting is straightforward on most floors.
