How do I determine the amount of flooring I need for my space?

Determining the right amount of flooring for your space is a crucial step in any home improvement project. At Flooring King, we've got you covered with a simple guide to help you calculate the exact amount you need: Measure Your Space: Begin by measuring the length and width of the room. For irregularly shaped rooms, divide them into smaller, more manageable sections. Add Extra for Wastage: It's wise to account for wastage during installation. Depending on the complexity of your layout, add an extra 5-10% to your total square footage to accommodate cuts and unforeseen adjustments. Consider Pattern Matching: If your chosen flooring has a pattern or needs to be matched, consult with our experts at Flooring King to determine the extra amount required for a seamless look. Factor in Room Shape: Different room shapes may result in varying amounts of wastage. Take into consideration any alcoves, closets, or irregular corners that may affect your calculations. Consult with Flooring Experts: Our team at Flooring King is always ready to assist you. View Full Specs

Arfon 04043 brings a practical dark grey to your office or commercial space. The plain loop pile sits flat and hard-wearing, absorbing 22dB of sound to help busy floors stay calm. It suits medium to dark colour schemes and works well where a neutral, professional look matters.

These Gradus Latour 2 Carpet Tiles come in 500mm squares, 16 per pack covering 4 square metres. The nylon pile weighs 470g/m2 and sits 5.5mm thick on a bitumen backing. Each tile glues down, giving a stable, long-term fit on concrete or prepared subfloors.

Underfloor heating

Arfon 04043 works with underfloor heating systems, so you can add warmth without replacing the tiles.

Where it works

Designed for offices, commercial reception areas and other high-traffic indoor spaces where durability and sound control matter. Not suitable for wet rooms or areas prone to moisture.

Installation and care

Fit these tiles using a commercial-grade adhesive and a roller to bed them firmly. The bitumen backing helps them stay in place. Daily vacuuming and the odd spot clean with a damp cloth keep them fresh. Gradus carpet tiles are backed by a 10-year commercial warranty, covering wear and manufacturing faults.
