How do I determine the amount of flooring I need for my space?

Determining the right amount of flooring for your space is a crucial step in any home improvement project. At Flooring King, we've got you covered with a simple guide to help you calculate the exact amount you need: Measure Your Space: Begin by measuring the length and width of the room. For irregularly shaped rooms, divide them into smaller, more manageable sections. Add Extra for Wastage: It's wise to account for wastage during installation. Depending on the complexity of your layout, add an extra 5-10% to your total square footage to accommodate cuts and unforeseen adjustments. Consider Pattern Matching: If your chosen flooring has a pattern or needs to be matched, consult with our experts at Flooring King to determine the extra amount required for a seamless look. Factor in Room Shape: Different room shapes may result in varying amounts of wastage. Take into consideration any alcoves, closets, or irregular corners that may affect your calculations. Product Overview

7mm Thickness

Heckmondwike Supacord in Green is a hardwearing carpet tile built for commercial spaces. The dark, medium green shade gives a smart, professional look that works in offices, meeting rooms and reception areas. Plain weave, no fussy patterns, so it suits nearly any scheme.

This is a practical tile that takes the wear. At 7mm thick with a dense 3670g/m2 pile, it keeps its surface and grip underfoot. The polyamide, polypropylene and recycled polyester mix is tough and holds colour well, whilst the bitumen backing keeps the tile stable and locked in place. Use Classification 33 means it handles the foot traffic of busy commercial environments with ease.
