Lano Star Twist Elite Alpaca

Lano Star Twist Elite in Alpaca is a warm, medium beige twist pile carpet that suits living rooms, hallways and stairs alike. The soft neutral tone works with most schemes, whilst the tight twist pile hides footprints and keeps its looks through daily wear. You get a carpet that copes with spills, because it’s bleach cleanable when needed.

Made from polypropylene, this is a practical choice for busy households. The 1700g/m² pile weight and 10mm pile height give real substance underfoot. At 12mm thick overall, it sits nicely in doorways and on level transitions. Polypropylene carpets like this are affordable and resilient, ideal for homes where durability and easy cleaning matter.

Where it works

Alpaca suits bedrooms, living rooms, dining rooms, hallways and stairs. It’s bleach cleanable, so spills and stains come out. The grip underfoot is secure on stairs, and the pile doesn’t show footprints easily. This carpet is rated for light commercial use too, making it equally at home in guest houses or small hospitality settings.

Installation and underlay

Lano Star Twist Elite fits using a gripper rod system, the traditional method for laying twist pile carpet. You’ll need proper underlay, which supports the pile, extends the carpet’s life and improves comfort. The carpet is compatible with underfloor heating, so warm floors work fine.

Looking after it

Vacuum regularly to keep the pile fresh. For spills, blot first then clean with your normal routine. Because it’s bleach cleanable, you have the option of a deep clean when needed. A 10-year guarantee backs the carpet, giving you confidence in its wear and colour hold.
