How do I determine the amount of flooring I need for my space?

Determining the right amount of flooring for your space is a crucial step in any home improvement project. At Flooring King, we've got you covered with a simple guide to help you calculate the exact amount you need: Measure Your Space: Begin by measuring the length and width of the room. For irregularly shaped rooms, divide them into smaller, more manageable sections. Add Extra for Wastage: It's wise to account for wastage during installation. Depending on the complexity of your layout, add an extra 5-10% to your total square footage to accommodate cuts and unforeseen adjustments. Consider Pattern Matching: If your chosen flooring has a pattern or needs to be matched, consult with our experts at Flooring King to determine the extra amount required for a seamless look. Factor in Room Shape: Different room shapes may result in varying amounts of wastage. Take into consideration any alcoves, closets, or irregular corners that may affect your calculations. Consult with Flooring Experts: Our team at Flooring King is always ready to assist you. The Lano Star Twist Supreme in Almond is a practical, hardwearing twist pile carpet in a soft medium beige that suits most rooms. The dense 1360g/m² pile gives real comfort underfoot, and the 8.5mm twist keeps its shape well even in busy hallways and stairs.

What sets this carpet apart is its bleach cleanable backing. Spills and stains come out fast. You don’t have to call in professionals or wait for spot treatments to dry. It’s the carpet for homes where things get messy.

The plain weave style works in bedrooms, dining rooms, halls, landings and living spaces. It keeps things calm and neutral, letting your furniture and walls take the lead. The polypropylene pile resists fading and holds colour well over time.
