Where it works

This carpet suits bedrooms, dining rooms, halls, landings and living rooms. The twist pile resists crushing and matting, so it holds its look underfoot. Stairs and landings are a good fit too, thanks to the robust construction. Avoid bathrooms and kitchens, where moisture can damage the pile.

Installation and underlay

Northstar uses gripper fitting, the traditional method where carpet is stretched and fixed to gripper rods around the room edge. You’ll need a quality underlay to protect the backing and improve comfort underfoot. The Lano Star Twist Supreme carpet range is compatible with underfloor heating if your home has it, so you can keep warm without fuss.

Looking after it

Hoover regularly to keep dust and grit at bay. For spills, blot with a damp cloth. The bleach-cleanable feature means you can mix a light bleach solution for stubborn marks and ingrained dirt. This is a real advantage in kitchens used as prep areas or dining rooms where accidents happen.

Northstar comes with a 10-year warranty, giving you confidence in its durability and performance over time.
