How do I determine the amount of flooring I need for my space?

Determining the right amount of flooring for your space is a crucial step in any home improvement project. At Flooring King, we've got you covered with a simple guide to help you calculate the exact amount you need: Measure Your Space: Begin by measuring the length and width of the room. For irregularly shaped rooms, divide them into smaller, more manageable sections. Add Extra for Wastage: It's wise to account for wastage during installation. Depending on the complexity of your layout, add an extra 5-10% to your total square footage to accommodate cuts and unforeseen adjustments. Consider Pattern Matching: If your chosen flooring has a pattern or needs to be matched, consult with our experts at Flooring King to determine the extra amount required for a seamless look. Factor in Room Shape: Different room shapes may result in varying amounts of wastage. Take into consideration any alcoves, closets, or irregular corners that may affect your calculations. Consult with Flooring Experts: Our team at Flooring King is always ready to assist you. Micro Bevelled Edging

Laura Ashley Hepscott Herringbone is a medium-toned plank LVT in a classic herringbone layout. The textured surface gives it depth and grip underfoot, while the micro bevelled edges add subtle definition. It looks and feels like real wood yet cuts the upkeep and cost that comes with it.

The whole range sits in the Laura Ashley LVT collection, delivering that on-brand aesthetic in a practical, waterproof format. The herringbone effect creates visual rhythm without the complexity of true parquet.

Where it works

Class 33 handles family homes, kitchens, hallways and bathrooms without flinching. The waterproof nature means spills and damp don’t pose a risk. Light commercial spaces can run it for up to 10 years under the commercial warranty.

Installation and underfloor heating

Click installation means no adhesive, no mess. The built-in underlay is already bonded, so you skip that step. Underfloor heating works with this product, making it a sensible choice if you’re planning warm feet as well as style.

Looking after it and warranty

Wipe spills promptly and sweep or vacuum to keep grit from scratching. The textured finish hides minor marks well. A 25-year residential warranty backs your investment, with 10 years on the commercial side if needed.
