It’s a glue-down system, so you’ll need adhesive and a steady hand, but no underlay is required. Once down, it needs only basic upkeep: a sweep or vacuum to clear dust and grit, then a damp mop with a mild cleaner when needed. Avoid standing water and wring out your mop well.
