How do I determine the amount of flooring I need for my space?

Determining the right amount of flooring for your space is a crucial step in any home improvement project. At Flooring King, we've got you covered with a simple guide to help you calculate the exact amount you need: Measure Your Space: Begin by measuring the length and width of the room. For irregularly shaped rooms, divide them into smaller, more manageable sections. Add Extra for Wastage: It's wise to account for wastage during installation. Depending on the complexity of your layout, add an extra 5-10% to your total square footage to accommodate cuts and unforeseen adjustments. Consider Pattern Matching: If your chosen flooring has a pattern or needs to be matched, consult with our experts at Flooring King to determine the extra amount required for a seamless look. Factor in Room Shape: Different room shapes may result in varying amounts of wastage. Take into consideration any alcoves, closets, or irregular corners that may affect your calculations. Consult with Flooring Experts: Our team at Flooring King is always ready to assist you. Nordikka Select Hazel LVT flooring in herringbone pattern. Waterproof, underfloor-heating compatible, glue-down fitting. Class 42 rated. Lifetime warranty.</description>

<parameter name="description">Nordikka Select Hazel is a light, natural-toned LVT that brings warmth and pattern to your home without the fuss of real wood. The herringbone effect creates visual interest in any space, whilst the embossed surface mimics authentic wood grain to the touch. This is a real-wood look that needs no oiling, sanding or staining.

Busy household, muddy boots, the lot. Hazel takes it all. It is completely waterproof, so spills wipe clean in seconds and it will not cup or swell like timber can. The micro bevel edge gives a subtle frame to each plank, adding depth to the herringbone layout without fussy detailing.

Suitable for kitchens, bathrooms, hallways and living spaces, Nordikka Select sits in Class 42 and Class 33 domestic ratings, meaning it copes with heavy domestic traffic and light commercial settings too. The R10 anti-slip surface keeps you sure-footed on wet floors, a real benefit in kitchens and wet rooms.
