Parador Basic 11-5 Knotty Oak 3-Strip

Knotty Oak 3-Strip brings warm, rustic character to your home. The natural grain runs true across three planks per board, with plenty of knots that add texture and depth. A matt lacquered finish keeps the look soft and organic, not shiny.

This is engineered wood, not solid oak. The design sits on a stable multi-ply base that resists movement and cupping, so it works well in kitchens, bathrooms and other moisture-prone spaces that solid wood can’t handle. It’s tough enough for busy households yet keeps that real-wood feel.

Installation

This is a floating floor with a click system. You glue a click joint between planks and lay the floor over an underlay, without fixing it to the subfloor. Installation is straightforward and quick. The Parador Basic 11-5 range works with underfloor heating, so you can add warmth beneath if your home has it installed. Underlay is required.

Looking after it

Sweep or vacuum regularly to lift dirt. Mop with a damp cloth and a wood-floor cleaner to keep the matt finish from dulling. Wipe spills promptly so water doesn’t sit on the surface. The Parador warranty covers the product for 15 years, giving you peace of mind.
