How do I determine the amount of flooring I need for my space?

Determining the right amount of flooring for your space is a crucial step in any home improvement project. At Flooring King, we've got you covered with a simple guide to help you calculate the exact amount you need: Measure Your Space: Begin by measuring the length and width of the room. For irregularly shaped rooms, divide them into smaller, more manageable sections. Add Extra for Wastage: It's wise to account for wastage during installation. Depending on the complexity of your layout, add an extra 5-10% to your total square footage to accommodate cuts and unforeseen adjustments. Consider Pattern Matching: If your chosen flooring has a pattern or needs to be matched, consult with our experts at Flooring King to determine the extra amount required for a seamless look. Factor in Room Shape: Different room shapes may result in varying amounts of wastage. Take into consideration any alcoves, closets, or irregular corners that may affect your calculations. Consult with Flooring Experts: Our team at Flooring King is always ready to assist you. Cloudburst brings a soft, light-blue finish with subtle speckled texture to any space. The muted tone suits kitchens and bathrooms where you want calm underfoot without drama. Its glue-down fit keeps it stable through heavy footfall, making it ideal for commercial settings where grip and durability matter.

The R9 anti-slip rating gives you real confidence on wet floors. Busy work kitchens, staff bathrooms, hospital corridors – wherever water and movement combine, this flooring grips. At just 2mm thick with a PVC backing, it sits flat and stable, staying put under pressure.

Waterproof right through, Cloudburst shrugs off spills and damp. Wipe it clean; no fuss with swelling or staining. The speckled surface disguises marks between cleans, which counts when you’re managing a commercial space or a home with constant traffic.

This is Commercial Vinyl Flooring built for real work. Sheet Vinyl Flooring in 2m widths rolls out quickly and glues down in one go, with no underlay needed. Sound insulation runs to 4dB, softening footsteps without fuss.
