How do I determine the amount of flooring I need for my space?

Determining the right amount of flooring for your space is a crucial step in any home improvement project. At Flooring King, we've got you covered with a simple guide to help you calculate the exact amount you need: Measure Your Space: Begin by measuring the length and width of the room. For irregularly shaped rooms, divide them into smaller, more manageable sections. Add Extra for Wastage: It's wise to account for wastage during installation. Depending on the complexity of your layout, add an extra 5-10% to your total square footage to accommodate cuts and unforeseen adjustments. Consider Pattern Matching: If your chosen flooring has a pattern or needs to be matched, consult with our experts at Flooring King to determine the extra amount required for a seamless look. Factor in Room Shape: Different room shapes may result in varying amounts of wastage. Take into consideration any alcoves, closets, or irregular corners that may affect your calculations. Consult with Flooring Experts: Our team at Flooring King is always ready to assist you. Country Park Oak 4388 brings a warm, muted wood grain to your home without the upkeep of real timber. The mid-tone oak plank has a natural character and sits well in kitchens, bathrooms, living rooms and hallways. You get a real-wood look with total waterproof protection, ideal for busy households where spills and splashes are part of life.

This is Polyflor Colonia flooring at its practical best. The 2mm wear layer and 0.2mm thickness means it holds its looks underfoot, whilst the waterproof PVC core stands up to moisture without fuss. It works in bathrooms and utility rooms where other woods would swell or stain. Underfloor heating is no problem either, so you can run warm pipes beneath without risk.

Where it works

Country Park Oak 4388 suits bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, dining rooms, living rooms, halls, offices and utility rooms. The waterproof core and R10 grip rating make it a solid choice for light commercial settings too. Its mid-tone grain fits contemporary and traditional schemes alike.

Installation

Glue the planks straight down to a sound, level subfloor. No underlay is needed. The material bonds well and sets quickly, so foot traffic is possible within hours. If you have underfloor heating, this product is fully compatible and will perform without warping or movement.

Looking after it

Wipe spills at once with a damp cloth. Sweep or vacuum regularly to keep grit out of the seams. Avoid standing water and very harsh cleaners. Polyflor Colonia flooring is tough enough for daily family wear, and comes with a 7-year commercial warranty to back it. Polyflor LVT products are made to endure.
