How do I determine the amount of flooring I need for my space?

Determining the right amount of flooring for your space is a crucial step in any home improvement project. At Flooring King, we've got you covered with a simple guide to help you calculate the exact amount you need: Measure Your Space: Begin by measuring the length and width of the room. For irregularly shaped rooms, divide them into smaller, more manageable sections. Add Extra for Wastage: It's wise to account for wastage during installation. Depending on the complexity of your layout, add an extra 5-10% to your total square footage to accommodate cuts and unforeseen adjustments. Consider Pattern Matching: If your chosen flooring has a pattern or needs to be matched, consult with our experts at Flooring King to determine the extra amount required for a seamless look. Factor in Room Shape: Different room shapes may result in varying amounts of wastage. Take into consideration any alcoves, closets, or irregular corners that may affect your calculations. Where it works

Polyflor Colonia flooring suits kitchens, bathrooms, utility rooms and wet areas where waterproof vinyl makes sense. It’s equally at home in living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms, halls and offices. The Use Classification 22 rating means it handles domestic traffic well, making it a solid choice for busy family homes. This product also qualifies for light commercial settings.

Installation and heating

Fix it down with glue and you’re done. No underlay needed. If you have underfloor heating, this vinyl works with warm water systems without fuss.

Looking after it

Waterproof and straightforward to maintain, Fossil Limestone simply needs regular sweeping and the occasional damp mop. Spills dry fast and won’t seep through. Polyflor LVT comes with a 7-year commercial warranty for peace of mind.
