How do I determine the amount of flooring I need for my space?

Determining the right amount of flooring for your space is a crucial step in any home improvement project. At Flooring King, we've got you covered with a simple guide to help you calculate the exact amount you need: Measure Your Space: Begin by measuring the length and width of the room. For irregularly shaped rooms, divide them into smaller, more manageable sections. Add Extra for Wastage: It's wise to account for wastage during installation. Depending on the complexity of your layout, add an extra 5-10% to your total square footage to accommodate cuts and unforeseen adjustments. Consider Pattern Matching: If your chosen flooring has a pattern or needs to be matched, consult with our experts at Flooring King to determine the extra amount required for a seamless look. Factor in Room Shape: Different room shapes may result in varying amounts of wastage. Take into consideration any alcoves, closets, or irregular corners that may affect your calculations. Consult with Flooring Experts: Our team at Flooring King is always ready to assist you. Where it works

This flooring suits bathrooms, kitchens, utility rooms, hallways and living spaces. It’s equally at home in bedrooms, dining rooms, offices and on stairs. Light commercial use is covered too. The waterproof core means moisture won’t damage it, so you can use it with confidence anywhere in your home.

Installation

Coastal Driftwood 4453 is a glue-down installation. You’ll need adhesive applied to the subfloor, not an underlay. The good news is it works with underfloor heating systems, so you can add warmth without compromising the floor.

Looking after it and warranty

Polyflor Colonia flooring needs basic care. Sweep regularly and wipe spills promptly with a damp cloth. The waterproof surface resists stains and moisture. You get a 7-year commercial warranty, giving you solid peace of mind on your investment.
