How do I determine the amount of flooring I need for my space?

Determining the right amount of flooring for your space is a crucial step in any home improvement project. At Flooring King, we've got you covered with a simple guide to help you calculate the exact amount you need: Measure Your Space: Begin by measuring the length and width of the room. For irregularly shaped rooms, divide them into smaller, more manageable sections. Add Extra for Wastage: It's wise to account for wastage during installation. Depending on the complexity of your layout, add an extra 5-10% to your total square footage to accommodate cuts and unforeseen adjustments. Consider Pattern Matching: If your chosen flooring has a pattern or needs to be matched, consult with our experts at Flooring King to determine the extra amount required for a seamless look. Factor in Room Shape: Different room shapes may result in varying amounts of wastage. Take into consideration any alcoves, closets, or irregular corners that may affect your calculations. Consult with Flooring Experts: Our team at Flooring King is always ready to assist you. Where it works

Kitchens, bathrooms, dining rooms, bedrooms and living spaces all suit this tile. The waterproof core makes it ideal for hallways and utility rooms where spills happen. Polyflor Expona Commercial is rated for light commercial use, so offices and retail spaces benefit too.

Installation and heating

Glue the tiles straight down to a sound, clean subfloor. No underlay is required. The floor works with underfloor heating systems, so you can warm the room beneath without compromising the finish.

Caring for it

Wipe spills away quickly and sweep or vacuum regularly to keep grit from scratching the surface. A damp mop handles everyday dirt. The 10-year commercial warranty covers wear and faults in normal use, giving you peace of mind for years to come.
