How do I determine the amount of flooring I need for my space?

Determining the right amount of flooring for your space is a crucial step in any home improvement project. At Flooring King, we've got you covered with a simple guide to help you calculate the exact amount you need: Measure Your Space: Begin by measuring the length and width of the room. For irregularly shaped rooms, divide them into smaller, more manageable sections. Add Extra for Wastage: It's wise to account for wastage during installation. Depending on the complexity of your layout, add an extra 5-10% to your total square footage to accommodate cuts and unforeseen adjustments. Consider Pattern Matching: If your chosen flooring has a pattern or needs to be matched, consult with our experts at Flooring King to determine the extra amount required for a seamless look. Factor in Room Shape: Different room shapes may result in varying amounts of wastage. Take into consideration any alcoves, closets, or irregular corners that may affect your calculations. Where it works

Honey Beige 9869 suits living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens, bathrooms, WCs, hallways and light commercial settings. Its waterproof construction handles spills and moisture without swelling or staining. If you’re laying it over underfloor heating, no problem: this vinyl is fully compatible.

Installation

It’s glue-down installation with no underlay required. The PVC backing sits flat on a sound subfloor, and it works straight over underfloor-heating systems.

Looking after it

Vinyl is low maintenance. Sweep or hoover regularly, then wipe with a damp cloth or a neutral pH cleaner when needed. The waterproof surface resists spills and the wear layer keeps its looks through daily life. A full 10-year warranty covers manufacturing defects, giving you peace of mind on your investment.
