Polyflor Expona Flow Jet 9842

Jet 9842 is a dark, speckled sheet vinyl that brings practical style to any space. The black with subtle flecking hides dirt and marks, making it perfect for hallways, kitchens and bathrooms where traffic is heavy and spills happen. You get a real-vinyl look without timber upkeep or the stain risk of porous materials.

This Polyflor Expona Flow sheet comes in 2m-wide rolls, 20m long, giving you flexibility to cover larger spaces with fewer seams. At just 2mm thick with a 0.7mm wear layer, it sits flush and handles daily wear without fuss. The PVC backing means no separate underlay is needed, so fitting and costs stay lean.

Waterproof right through, Jet 9842 laughs off kitchen spills and bathroom moisture. Glue down to a clean, level subfloor in minutes, and it bonds fast. If your home has underfloor heating, this vinyl plays nicely with it and won’t warp or buckle when temperatures shift.

Where it works

Kitchens, bathrooms, wet rooms and utility spaces are natural fits. Its R10 slip rating makes hallways and entryways safer underfoot, especially when wet. The dark colour suits living spaces and bedrooms too, whilst the commercial grading (34 and 43) means it handles light commercial settings like small offices or retail where footfall is moderate to high.

Installation and care

Glue-down installation takes skill if you’re doing it yourself, so a professional fitter is worth the cost for a clean, lasting result. Clean spills straight away with a damp cloth. For stubborn marks, a mild detergent and soft mop work well. Keep it dry underfoot and out of direct, intense sunlight to keep it looking fresh.

Polyflor backs this product with a 10-year commercial warranty, giving you real peace of mind on your investment.
