How do I determine the amount of flooring I need for my space?

Determining the right amount of flooring for your space is a crucial step in any home improvement project. At Flooring King, we've got you covered with a simple guide to help you calculate the exact amount you need: Measure Your Space: Begin by measuring the length and width of the room. For irregularly shaped rooms, divide them into smaller, more manageable sections. Add Extra for Wastage: It's wise to account for wastage during installation. Depending on the complexity of your layout, add an extra 5-10% to your total square footage to accommodate cuts and unforeseen adjustments. Consider Pattern Matching: If your chosen flooring has a pattern or needs to be matched, consult with our experts at Flooring King to determine the extra amount required for a seamless look. Factor in Room Shape: Different room shapes may result in varying amounts of wastage. Take into consideration any alcoves, closets, or irregular corners that may affect your calculations. Polyflor Forest FX in Alloyed-Timber 3105 is a grey wood-look vinyl plank that brings practical durability to kitchens, bathrooms, offices and commercial spaces. The dark to medium timber grain sits flat and natural without fussy detail. It looks like genuine timber but cuts out the water worry and heavy maintenance.

This is Commercial Vinyl Flooring built to take the knocks. Its 0.7mm wear layer and 2mm total thickness handle foot traffic in busy settings. The vinyl stands up to spills and splashes without swelling or staining. An R10 anti-slip surface keeps footing safe in wet zones. Sound insulation rates at 19dB, which dulls footfall and dropped items.
