How do I determine the amount of flooring I need for my space?

Determining the right amount of flooring for your space is a crucial step in any home improvement project. At Flooring King, we've got you covered with a simple guide to help you calculate the exact amount you need: Measure Your Space: Begin by measuring the length and width of the room. For irregularly shaped rooms, divide them into smaller, more manageable sections. Add Extra for Wastage: It's wise to account for wastage during installation. Depending on the complexity of your layout, add an extra 5-10% to your total square footage to accommodate cuts and unforeseen adjustments. Consider Pattern Matching: If your chosen flooring has a pattern or needs to be matched, consult with our experts at Flooring King to determine the extra amount required for a seamless look. Factor in Room Shape: Different room shapes may result in varying amounts of wastage. Take into consideration any alcoves, closets, or irregular corners that may affect your calculations. Wide planks at 190mm give it a modern look without the upkeep of solid wood. The natural oak tone works with both light and dark schemes, making it an easy choice for living spaces, kitchens, bedrooms and more.

This is laminate flooring built to last. An 8mm HDF core packed with an AC4 wear rating means it handles everyday family life, pets and high traffic with ease. The water-resistant construction stands up to kitchen spills and bathroom moisture. Better still, it suits underfloor heating systems, so you get warmth beneath your feet without compromise. Each pack covers 1.835 m² with seven planks that click together quickly, no adhesive needed.
