Quick-Step Impressive Cotton Oak IM8254

Cotton Oak IM8254 brings warm, natural oak tones to your home with a soft brushed texture that feels lived-in from day one. The wide 190mm planks and generous 1380mm length make rooms feel open and coherent, whilst the bevelled edges add subtle definition between boards.

This is laminate that handles real life. The HDF core sits atop a water-resistant layer, so spills in the kitchen or bathroom don’t become disasters. Click together the planks, slip an underlay beneath, and you’re done in hours rather than days. Better still, it works with underfloor heating, so you can warm your feet without rewiring anything.

Where it works

Cotton Oak sits happily in living rooms, bedrooms, dining areas and kitchens. It’s equally at home in hallways, landings and utility spaces. The water-resistant core makes it a sound choice for bathrooms and WCs too, though you’ll want to wipe spills quickly to keep it looking fresh.

Installation and care

Click the planks into place over a proper underlay. Don’t skip the underlay, even if you think the subfloor is smooth. It cushions footfall, dampens noise and helps protect the boards from moisture underneath. Vacuum or sweep regularly, and mop with a barely damp cloth when needed, never wet.
