How do I determine the amount of flooring I need for my space?

Determining the right amount of flooring for your space is a crucial step in any home improvement project. At Flooring King, we've got you covered with a simple guide to help you calculate the exact amount you need: Measure Your Space: Begin by measuring the length and width of the room. For irregularly shaped rooms, divide them into smaller, more manageable sections. Add Extra for Wastage: It's wise to account for wastage during installation. Depending on the complexity of your layout, add an extra 5-10% to your total square footage to accommodate cuts and unforeseen adjustments. Consider Pattern Matching: If your chosen flooring has a pattern or needs to be matched, consult with our experts at Flooring King to determine the extra amount required for a seamless look. Factor in Room Shape: Different room shapes may result in varying amounts of wastage. Take into consideration any alcoves, closets, or irregular corners that may affect your calculations. Consult with Flooring Experts: Our team at Flooring King is always ready to assist you. This is Quick-Step Impressive Ultra Laminate Flooring built for real life. Water-resistant construction means splashes and spills won’t damage the surface. The AC5 wear rating handles kitchens, hallways and bathrooms without flinching. Heavy footfall, muddy boots, the lot.

Where it works

Laminate Flooring this tough suits kitchens, bathrooms, utility rooms and high-traffic hallways. It handles living rooms, bedrooms, offices and landing areas equally well. Commercial settings that demand durability also benefit from its AC5 rating.

Installation

The click system locks planks together quickly with no glue required. Underlay is necessary, and the floor works with underfloor heating systems, so you can warm your home without compromise.

Looking after it

Clean with a barely damp mop and a mild cleaner. Water sits on the surface rather than soaking in, so wipe spills straight away. Textured finishes hide dust and footprints better than smooth ones do. Quick-Step backs this floor with a lifetime warranty for residential use and 10 years for commercial applications.
