How do I determine the amount of flooring I need for my space?

Determining the right amount of flooring for your space is a crucial step in any home improvement project. At Flooring King, we've got you covered with a simple guide to help you calculate the exact amount you need: Measure Your Space: Begin by measuring the length and width of the room. For irregularly shaped rooms, divide them into smaller, more manageable sections. Add Extra for Wastage: It's wise to account for wastage during installation. Depending on the complexity of your layout, add an extra 5-10% to your total square footage to accommodate cuts and unforeseen adjustments. Consider Pattern Matching: If your chosen flooring has a pattern or needs to be matched, consult with our experts at Flooring King to determine the extra amount required for a seamless look. Factor in Room Shape: Different room shapes may result in varying amounts of wastage. Take into consideration any alcoves, closets, or irregular corners that may affect your calculations. Consult with Flooring Experts: Our team at Flooring King is always ready to assist you. Feel free to reach out for personalised advice on your specific project, ensuring you get the right amount of flooring for your unique space. Bevelled Edging

Chia Oak brings a warm, natural look to your home with soft brown tones and a convincing wood plank effect. The bevelled edge and wide plank format add depth and character, while the smooth finish works just as well in a kitchen or bathroom as it does in a living room or hall. It looks like solid wood but demands none of the upkeep.

Why it works

This is Luxury Vinyl Tiles built tough. The 0.55mm wear layer protects against scuffs and spills, whilst the waterproof core means you can wipe it clean without worry. Class 33 rating handles busy homes and light commercial spaces alike. Sound insulation of 19dB keeps underfoot noise low, so footsteps don’t travel through the room.

Click installation takes the fuss out of laying it down. There is no glue, no mess. The built-in underlay cushions your step and saves you the cost of a separate layer. If your home has underfloor heating, this flooring works with it straight away.

A lifetime warranty gives you peace of mind on your investment, plus a 5-year commercial guarantee if you use it in a business setting.
