Quick-Step Muse Dusky Bluestone MUS5485

Dusky Bluestone brings a cool, contemporary stone look to your home. This grey-blue tile effect has a textured, brushed surface that mimics natural slate without the upkeep. The neutral tone suits modern schemes, industrial kitchens, or any space where you want understated style and hard-wearing protection.

The flooring sits on an HDF core board with a water-resistant finish, making it one of the few laminate flooring options safe enough for kitchens and bathrooms. It’s bevelled edge gives definition between planks and adds subtle depth.

Specifications

• 1200mm long, 396mm wide planks, 8mm thick
• 4 planks per pack covering 1.901 m²
• AC4 wear rating (suitable for domestic and light commercial use)

Its AC4 rating means it handles everyday traffic without flinching. Busy household, muddy boots, the lot. The sound dampening helps too, cutting noise underfoot when kids run about or you drag chairs.

Where it works

Quick-Step Muse laminate flooring suits bathrooms, kitchens, living rooms, dining spaces, hallways, bedrooms and utility rooms. Its water resistance makes it rare among laminates for wet areas. Light commercial settings, such as small offices or boutique retail, are also within its scope.

Installation and heating

Click together without glue for a straightforward fix. The flooring works with underfloor heating systems, so you can warm your bathroom or kitchen from below. Underlay is required to protect the boards and improve comfort underfoot.

Looking after it and warranty

Wipe spills promptly with a damp cloth and a pH-neutral cleaner. Its water-resistant core resists swelling from splashes, but don’t leave standing water. Quick-Step backs it with a lifetime residential warranty and a 5-year commercial guarantee.
