Polyflor Designatex Sicilian Oak 2147

Sicilian Oak brings a warm, medium brown wood plank look to any room. The grain and texture are realistic without the demands of solid timber. You get the style you want and the practicality that matters: it’s waterproof, so splashes and spills don’t sink in or stain.

This is Polyflor Designatex Sheet Vinyl Flooring, a cushioned vinyl that sits comfortable underfoot and absorbs sound well. The cushioned backing delivers warmth and softness to live areas and kitchens alike, whilst the textile backing keeps it stable. R10 slip resistance means it grips well even in wet conditions, so bathrooms, WCs and commercial spaces are no problem.

What you get

• 3mm thickness with 0.3mm wear layer
• Loose lay installation, no adhesive needed
• Waterproof and fully cushioned for comfort
• Available in 2m, 3m and 4m widths (25m roll)
• R10 slip rating for wet areas
• 17dB sound insulation
• Compatible with underfloor heating

Installation is straightforward. Loose lay means you simply unroll it and trim to fit, no glue and no mess. If you have underfloor heating, Sicilian Oak works with it perfectly. Subfloor prep is minimal: just make sure it’s clean, dry and level.

Where it works

Kitchens, bathrooms, offices and commercial settings all suit this vinyl. It handles the damp and the traffic. Family homes, rental properties, shops and clinics can all benefit from its durability and easy care.

Looking after it

Maintenance is simple. A vacuum or dry sweep removes dust and crumbs. For spills, a damp mop does the job. Because it’s waterproof, you don’t have to rush to dry it. It won’t warp or swell like wood does.

Sicilian Oak comes with a 15-year commercial warranty, so you know it’s built to last. Polyflor sheet vinyl flooring is a trusted choice across the UK for good reason: it balances real-wood looks with the resilience you need in real homes.
