How do I determine the amount of flooring I need for my space?

Determining the right amount of flooring for your space is a crucial step in any home improvement project. At Flooring King, we've got you covered with a simple guide to help you calculate the exact amount you need: Measure Your Space: Begin by measuring the length and width of the room. For irregularly shaped rooms, divide them into smaller, more manageable sections. Add Extra for Wastage: It's wise to account for wastage during installation. Depending on the complexity of your layout, add an extra 5-10% to your total square footage to accommodate cuts and unforeseen adjustments. Consider Pattern Matching: If your chosen flooring has a pattern or needs to be matched, consult with our experts at Flooring King to determine the extra amount required for a seamless look. Factor in Room Shape: Different room shapes may result in varying amounts of wastage. Take into consideration any alcoves, closets, or irregular corners that may affect your calculations. Consult with Flooring Experts: Our team at Flooring King is always ready to assist you. Soft Peach 5216 is a light, warm vinyl with subtle speckled detail. This Polysafe Verona sheet delivers the soft colour of a sunny kitchen or clinical clean of a bright bathroom, without the slip risk of smooth flooring. The R10 anti-slip surface grips underfoot even when wet, making it a smart choice for bathrooms, kitchens, offices and commercial settings where safety matters.

Being waterproof, Soft Peach 5216 shrugs off splashes and spills. It sits flat on the subfloor without any underlay needed, and there’s no underfloor heating compatibility to factor in. The 2mm thickness balances durability with a slim profile, ideal for doorways and transitions.

Where it works

Soft Peach 5216 is at home in kitchens, bathrooms, WCs and offices. The anti-slip grip makes it especially suitable for wet rooms and busy commercial spaces where foot traffic is high and moisture is a constant. Polyflor sheet vinyl flooring in this range also brings peace of mind to healthcare and hospitality settings.

Fitting and care

Glue it down straight to a clean, solid subfloor. No underlay is required. Once laid, simply sweep and damp-mop to keep it clean.
