Tarkett Texstar Cottage Stone Black

Cottage Stone Black is a dark stone-effect sheet vinyl that brings hard-wearing practicality to wet rooms and high-traffic areas. The matte black tile look suits modern kitchens, bathrooms and utility spaces without the grout lines to clean. You get a real stone appearance with none of the upkeep.

The cushioned felt backing softens underfoot and dampens sound, cutting 19dB of noise. This makes it kinder on joints during long periods standing, and it helps reduce echoes in kitchens and hallways. The 0.35mm wear layer sits on top of the PVC core, protecting against scuffs and daily wear.

Where it works

Cottage Stone Black suits bathrooms, kitchens, utility rooms, hallways and bedrooms in homes. It also handles light commercial use in cafes, offices, retail and hospitality settings. The Tarkett Texstar range is built to Class 23, 34 and 43 standards, so it copes with anything from domestic living rooms to busy commercial floors.

Installation

Fit it as glue-down or loose lay. The felt back sits flat against subfloors, so you can simply roll it out for a quick temporary fit if you prefer. It’s compatible with underfloor heating, which opens up options for heating wet rooms or kitchens without extra preparation.
