How do I determine the amount of flooring I need for my space?

Determining the right amount of flooring for your space is a crucial step in any home improvement project. At Flooring King, we've got you covered with a simple guide to help you calculate the exact amount you need: Measure Your Space: Begin by measuring the length and width of the room. For irregularly shaped rooms, divide them into smaller, more manageable sections. Add Extra for Wastage: It's wise to account for wastage during installation. Depending on the complexity of your layout, add an extra 5-10% to your total square footage to accommodate cuts and unforeseen adjustments. Consider Pattern Matching: If your chosen flooring has a pattern or needs to be matched, consult with our experts at Flooring King to determine the extra amount required for a seamless look. Factor in Room Shape: Different room shapes may result in varying amounts of wastage. Take into consideration any alcoves, closets, or irregular corners that may affect your calculations. Consult with Flooring Experts: Our team at Flooring King is always ready to assist you. Nylon loop pile, 4340g/m2 pile weight
20 tiles per pack, bitumen backing
Use class 33 (heavy commercial)

Compatible with underfloor heating

Whether you’re fitting out a new office or replacing worn flooring in a busy reception, Commercial Carpet Tiles like the Dahlia Hue offer easy room-by-room installation. No large waste rolls to manage. Replace just the tiles that take a beating, and leave the rest untouched.

Where it works

Built for offices, call centres, retail spaces and other high-traffic commercial environments. The striped pattern and colour balance suit both modern and traditional commercial settings. These tiles also work in busy public areas where durability and easy maintenance matter.

Installation and care

Lay them with adhesive onto a clean, level subfloor. Underfloor heating is compatible. Regular vacuuming keeps them clean. Spill something? A damp cloth deals with most marks quickly. Carpet Tiles in nylon are forgiving surfaces for hardworking spaces.
