How do I determine the amount of flooring I need for my space?

Determining the right amount of flooring for your space is a crucial step in any home improvement project. At Flooring King, we've got you covered with a simple guide to help you calculate the exact amount you need: Measure Your Space: Begin by measuring the length and width of the room. For irregularly shaped rooms, divide them into smaller, more manageable sections. Add Extra for Wastage: It's wise to account for wastage during installation. Depending on the complexity of your layout, add an extra 5-10% to your total square footage to accommodate cuts and unforeseen adjustments. Consider Pattern Matching: If your chosen flooring has a pattern or needs to be matched, consult with our experts at Flooring King to determine the extra amount required for a seamless look. Factor in Room Shape: Different room shapes may result in varying amounts of wastage. Take into consideration any alcoves, closets, or irregular corners that may affect your calculations. Where it works

These tiles are suited to offices, meeting rooms, reception areas and other commercial settings with moderate foot traffic. They’re equally at home in corporate environments and call centres. Carpet Tiles like these let you swap out worn areas without replacing the whole floor, a real advantage in busy workplaces. This classification 31 product handles regular daily use without losing its shape.

Installation

The bitumen backing means you can lay these tiles directly onto a prepared subfloor using our standard carpet tile adhesive. They’re compatible with underfloor heating systems, so you can warm the room beneath without worry. Each pack covers 5 square metres, making it easy to plan your coverage and order enough tiles for your space.

Looking after it and warranty

Vacuum regularly to keep the pile fresh and prevent dirt settling in. Spot-clean spills promptly with a damp cloth. The beige tone is forgiving with marks. The Floor Hub carpet tiles come with a 7-year commercial warranty, giving you peace of mind for the long term.
