How do I determine the amount of flooring I need for my space?

Determining the right amount of flooring for your space is a crucial step in any home improvement project. At Flooring King, we've got you covered with a simple guide to help you calculate the exact amount you need: Measure Your Space: Begin by measuring the length and width of the room. For irregularly shaped rooms, divide them into smaller, more manageable sections. Add Extra for Wastage: It's wise to account for wastage during installation. Depending on the complexity of your layout, add an extra 5-10% to your total square footage to accommodate cuts and unforeseen adjustments. Consider Pattern Matching: If your chosen flooring has a pattern or needs to be matched, consult with our experts at Flooring King to determine the extra amount required for a seamless look. Factor in Room Shape: Different room shapes may result in varying amounts of wastage. Take into consideration any alcoves, closets, or irregular corners that may affect your calculations. Consult with Flooring Experts: Our team at Flooring King is always ready to assist you. Where it works

The Floor Hub carpet tiles in this range suit offices, meeting rooms and reception areas. They also work well in retail, hospitality and other commercial settings where durability counts. The mottled pattern masks footprints and spills, keeping your floor looking fresher for longer. These are Commercial Carpet Tiles rated for heavy foot traffic and built to last.

Installation and underfloor heating

Lay Shadows 2.0 Ombra tiles over a clean, flat subfloor. They are compatible with underfloor heating systems, so you can install them over warm floors without worry. The bitumen backing helps them stay in place and resist movement.

Looking after it

Vacuum weekly to lift dirt from the loop pile. Spot-clean spills straight away with a damp cloth. For stubborn marks, a mild carpet cleaner works well. Your floor comes with a 10-year commercial warranty, so you are covered if it fails in normal use.
