How do I determine the amount of flooring I need for my space?

Determining the right amount of flooring for your space is a crucial step in any home improvement project. At Flooring King, we've got you covered with a simple guide to help you calculate the exact amount you need: Measure Your Space: Begin by measuring the length and width of the room. For irregularly shaped rooms, divide them into smaller, more manageable sections. Add Extra for Wastage: It's wise to account for wastage during installation. Depending on the complexity of your layout, add an extra 5-10% to your total square footage to accommodate cuts and unforeseen adjustments. Consider Pattern Matching: If your chosen flooring has a pattern or needs to be matched, consult with our experts at Flooring King to determine the extra amount required for a seamless look. Factor in Room Shape: Different room shapes may result in varying amounts of wastage. Take into consideration any alcoves, closets, or irregular corners that may affect your calculations. Consult with Flooring Experts: Our team at Flooring King is always ready to assist you. Whether you’re fitting Carpet Tiles for Offices or larger open-plan commercial areas, Typhoon delivers a professional, hard-wearing finish. The plain design means colours won’t compete with your space. Installation is quick: lay them loose, glue them down, or use a tackifier for a semi-permanent fix. Each tile locks into the next, so you can replace worn spots without disturbing the whole floor.

Looking after it

Brush and vacuum regularly to keep pile standing proud. Spot-treat spills promptly with a damp cloth. The loop pile resists dirt and staining. Typhoon comes with a 5-year commercial warranty, giving you peace of mind on your investment. When you’re ready to refresh a section, Carpet Tiles can be lifted and replaced individually, saving you cost and hassle.
