How do I determine the amount of flooring I need for my space?

Determining the right amount of flooring for your space is a crucial step in any home improvement project. At Flooring King, we've got you covered with a simple guide to help you calculate the exact amount you need: Measure Your Space: Begin by measuring the length and width of the room. For irregularly shaped rooms, divide them into smaller, more manageable sections. Add Extra for Wastage: It's wise to account for wastage during installation. Depending on the complexity of your layout, add an extra 5-10% to your total square footage to accommodate cuts and unforeseen adjustments. Consider Pattern Matching: If your chosen flooring has a pattern or needs to be matched, consult with our experts at Flooring King to determine the extra amount required for a seamless look. Factor in Room Shape: Different room shapes may result in varying amounts of wastage. Take into consideration any alcoves, closets, or irregular corners that may affect your calculations. Consult with Flooring Experts: Our team at Flooring King is always ready to assist you. TLC Original Antique Slate 5187 brings a cool, natural slate look to any room without the weight or upkeep of real stone. The muted grey tones and subtle texture sit well in modern kitchens, bathrooms and hallways, giving a durable alternative to traditional tile.

These Luxury Vinyl Tiles are fully waterproof LVT flooring, so spills and splashes won’t damage the material. That makes them ideal for bathrooms, utility rooms and anywhere moisture is a concern. The R10 anti-slip rating keeps them safe underfoot even when wet.

Specifications

304mm x 304mm tile size
2mm total thickness with 0.3mm wear layer
