How do I determine the amount of flooring I need for my space?

Determining the right amount of flooring for your space is a crucial step in any home improvement project. At Flooring King, we've got you covered with a simple guide to help you calculate the exact amount you need: Measure Your Space: Begin by measuring the length and width of the room. For irregularly shaped rooms, divide them into smaller, more manageable sections. Add Extra for Wastage: It's wise to account for wastage during installation. Depending on the complexity of your layout, add an extra 5-10% to your total square footage to accommodate cuts and unforeseen adjustments. Consider Pattern Matching: If your chosen flooring has a pattern or needs to be matched, consult with our experts at Flooring King to determine the extra amount required for a seamless look. Factor in Room Shape: Different room shapes may result in varying amounts of wastage. Take into consideration any alcoves, closets, or irregular corners that may affect your calculations. Consult with Flooring Experts: Our team at Flooring King is always ready to assist you. Vanguard Eminence Fossil is a medium grey carpet with a clean, plain weave that works in almost any room. The soft cut pile sits 10mm thick underfoot, giving your space comfort without bulk. It’s polypropylene, which means it takes spills in its stride and resists staining. Better yet, it’s bleach cleanable, so stubborn marks don’t mean panic or professional cleaning costs.

This is a carpet made for living. Bedrooms, dining rooms, hallways, landings and living spaces all suit it equally well. The neutral grey tone pairs with contemporary schemes and traditional alike. Bleach Cleanable Carpets give you real peace of mind when kids, pets or muddy boots are part of your routine.
