How Returns Work

You are responsible for return shipping costs. All items must be returned in full, unopened and in original packaging.

Submit Return Request

Contact our team to review your order. You'll receive a returns form with full instructions.

Book Pallet Collection

Arrange an insured pallet service at your cost. Ensure your courier covers flooring. Keep items in original, unopened packaging.

Pack & Photograph

Securely pack your items with season-appropriate protection. Photograph everything from all angles before dispatch as proof of condition.

Inspection & Refund

Once received and inspected, your refund will be processed within 3 days. Allow 1-10 business days depending on your bank.

Return Policy

28-Day Cancellation Period

We extend the standard 14-day legal requirement to 28 calendar days from receipt of your goods, giving you additional time to verify you're happy with your order.

Full Order Returns Only

Flooring is supplied in batches. To ensure colour, shade and quality consistency, we require entire orders to be returned — partial returns are not accepted.

Original Condition Required

Items must be returned unopened, in original packaging, and in resaleable condition. Damaged, opened, or non-resaleable items may result in deductions from your refund.

We inspect your return within 3 working days to check condition and completeness.

Refund Processed

Once approved, your refund is issued within 7 calendar days depending on your bank's processing time.

We reserve the right to deduct for items showing handling or use beyond necessary inspection.

Contact us immediately on 0300 303 6069 or email info@flooringking.co.uk. If we catch it before delivery, your refund will be issued minus delivery costs. If not yet dispatched, you'll receive a full refund within five working days.

Items We Can't Accept Back

The following items are excluded from our returns policy

Cut-from-Roll Vinyl or Carpet

Cannot be reattached to the roll and exact measurements are unlikely to fit other customers. This is standard practice across the flooring industry. We recommend ordering free samples first.

Opened or Unsealed Goods

We cannot verify opened flooring as undamaged, and it cannot be sold as new. Batch consistency also cannot be guaranteed once packaging is opened.

Bespoke, Special-Order & Discontinued

Made-to-order products, items sourced specifically for your order, and discontinued lines cannot be returned as they cannot be resold.

Fitted or Part-Fitted Flooring

Once installation begins, goods are considered accepted and the contract is fulfilled. Products cannot be returned after fitting starts.

Adhesives, Sealants & Screeds

Storage temperature cannot be verified after delivery and products may have degraded invisibly. These perishable items cannot be accepted back.

Plywood & Accessories

Plywood absorbs moisture easily and invisible damage can cause flooring failures. Accessories are colour-matched and may have been modified. Returns at our discretion.

Arrived Damaged?

Contact us immediately for a free replacement. Keep the packaging and take photographs of any damage.
