Forbo Tessera Create Space 1 Lithium 1816

Forbo Tessera Create Space 1 in Lithium 1816 is a commercial-grade carpet tile with a dark grey finish and loop pile construction. The 500g/m2 pile weight gives you durability in busy office settings, reception areas and breakout zones. Castor-chair approved, it takes the wear and tear of mobile seating without showing track marks across the pile.

At 5.5mm thick with a loop pile, these tiles sit stable underfoot and resist matting even with heavy foot traffic. The polyamide fibre holds its colour and resists soiling, keeping your floors looking managed. Sound insulation of 25dB helps deaden noise in open-plan spaces, making them feel less harsh underfoot and overhead.

Glue down installation is straightforward on level concrete or screeded floors. The rigid tile format means you can strip and replace individual worn sections without lifting the whole floor. Lithium’s dark grey suits neutral, modern schemes and hides dirt between cleans. Low LRV of 10 makes it a good choice for spaces where contrast matters.

Not waterproof, so keep spills away and avoid kitchens or wet rooms. Maintenance is simple: vacuum regularly and spot-clean with dilute detergent when needed. The 10-year commercial warranty covers normal wear in office and retail settings, giving you confidence over the long term.
