Forbo Tessera Create Space 1 in Pearl 1818 is a textured grey carpet tile that sits neatly between function and design. With 500g/m² loop pile in polyamide, it holds colour and resists scuff marks in busy offices, corridors and open-plan floors. The pile is close enough to muffle footfall and chair noise, giving you a 25dB sound reduction in a single layer. All 20 tiles in a 5m² pack fit tight to one another, so joins become nearly invisible once laid.

The tile measures 500 x 500mm and sits 5.5mm thick. Glue down is the only fixing method, though the polyamide pile bed won’t shift once anchored. Castor chairs roll across it without marking the yarn, and the low LRV of 19 means Pearl 1818 won’t bounce harsh light around the room. Step on it on day one and the pile sets itself; it doesn’t flatten or distress further with ordinary wear.
