Forbo Tessera Create Space 1 Tawny 1807

Forbo Tessera Create Space 1 in Tawny 1807 is a commercial-grade carpet tile with a warm, medium brown tone that sits well in open-plan offices, reception areas and busy work spaces. The loop pile construction and polyamide fibre give it clean lines and durability under foot traffic. At 500g/m2 pile weight, it holds its surface without flattening fast. The pattern detailing works across large floor areas without looking repetitive.

Where it works

Built for commercial settings. Suited to offices, meeting rooms, corridors and reception areas where you need a hard-wearing floor that takes wheeled chairs and daily traffic without complaint. The pattern helps disguise dirt and wear in high-footfall zones.

Installation

Glue-down fitting. Each pack covers 5m2 with 20 tiles, so calculate your area and add 5 per cent for waste and cuts at edges and doorways. Forbo recommends an acrylic-based flooring adhesive and a smooth, clean subfloor.

Looking after it

Vacuum or sweep regularly to lift dust and debris. Spot-clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent where needed. The pile resists staining, though prompt attention to spills helps. Comes with a 10-year commercial warranty.
