How do I determine the amount of flooring I need for my space?

Determining the right amount of flooring for your space is a crucial step in any home improvement project. At Flooring King, we've got you covered with a simple guide to help you calculate the exact amount you need: Measure Your Space: Begin by measuring the length and width of the room. For irregularly shaped rooms, divide them into smaller, more manageable sections. Add Extra for Wastage: It's wise to account for wastage during installation. Depending on the complexity of your layout, add an extra 5-10% to your total square footage to accommodate cuts and unforeseen adjustments. Consider Pattern Matching: If your chosen flooring has a pattern or needs to be matched, consult with our experts at Flooring King to determine the extra amount required for a seamless look. Factor in Room Shape: Different room shapes may result in varying amounts of wastage. Take into consideration any alcoves, closets, or irregular corners that may affect your calculations. Consult with Flooring Experts: Our team at Flooring King is always ready to assist you. View Full Specs

Tempo is a dark grey striped carpet tile that brings calm, professional style to any office or commercial space. The loop pile sits at 2.0mm, paired with a substantial 3800g/m² weight that gives the tile real substance underfoot. With a 5.3mm total thickness and bitumen backing, Tempo holds its place and keeps its looks through the daily wear of a busy workplace.

This tile works hard. It’s rated Use Class 33, which means it handles the footfall and fuss of a high-traffic commercial setting without flinching. The striped pattern reads as contemporary and calm, masking everyday marks and dust so your space stays looking fresh between cleans. Nylon fibre keeps it resilient and easy to maintain.
